2027 CNSA Parliament Hill Advocacy Day

Four student delegates. One national voice. Your opportunity to advocate for the future of nursing.

On January 26, 2027, the Canadian Nursing Students’ Association (CNSA) will bring nursing student voices directly to Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

Four nursing students from across Canada will be selected to join the CNSA Board of Directors in meetings with Members of Parliament, Senators, and other parliamentary representatives to advocate for the needs, challenges, and priorities of nursing students nationwide.

This initiative provides a unique opportunity for students to engage directly with federal decision-makers, contribute to national policy discussions, and help shape the future of nursing education and healthcare in Canada.

Your Voice Matters

We believe nursing students deserve a seat at the table when decisions affecting their education, clinical experiences, and future profession are being made.

No previous political, advocacy, or leadership experience is required. We encourage nursing students from diverse backgrounds, programs, and regions to apply.

Be Part of the Conversation

Selected delegates will participate in mandatory advocacy training on January 25, followed by parliamentary advocacy activities on January 26, 2027.

CNSA will provide accommodations and meals for January 25–26. Delegates are responsible for their own travel expenses.
