CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - CNSA 2026

A message from our National Conference Coordinator - Wisdom Atulaegwu

On behalf of the Canadian Nursing Students’ Association (CNSA), we are pleased to invite nursing students across Canada to submit an abstract for poster presentation at the CNSA National Conference 2026: Building Bridges in the City of Bridges, to be held in Saskatoon from January 28–31, 2026.

This year’s theme, Building Bridges, highlights connection, collaboration, and innovation in nursing education, practice, research, and leadership. Students will have the opportunity to share their scholarship in a poster hall setting, where posters will be displayed on presentation boards and presenters will engage with conference participants, faculty, and potential researchers.

Suggested topic areas include (but are not limited to):

  • Indigenous health & reconciliation (bridging nursing and Indigenous ways of knowing)

  • Interprofessional collaboration (bridging across disciplines for better outcomes)

  • Rural and remote health (bridging the rural–urban gap through innovation and access)

  • Education & student transitions (bridging classroom to practice, novice to expert)

  • Health equity & marginalized populations (bridging gaps in access and inclusion)

  • Digital health & technology (bridging human care with technological innovation)

  • Policy & health systems (bridging research, advocacy, and nursing leadership)

  • Quality, safety, and improvement (bridging transitions and improving continuity of care)

  • Mental health & wellness (bridging stigma to support for students and communities)
